Across the globe, individuals, families, and communities are faced with a not-oft-discussed issue: nutrition. Each year, around forty-five percent of all child deaths under the age of five are due to nutrition-related factors. Nutrition is often an invisible conversation, as symptoms of starvation are hidden to those creating the nutrition programs or initiating national conversation. Less than one percent of global foreign aid goes towards nutrition, leaving those with malnutrition, stunted growth, and undernourishment to a vicious cycle of impoverishment.
